en Before we start pushing sand, we're got to get the debris up.

en We want no one underneath that area when they start to work on the outside of the building. In the event of weather that might actually tear more debris away from that building we would monitor the situation and make a determination to expand the perimeter if debris could be flying ... more than one or two blocks.

en People go by and see a growing pile of debris and may create a mentality that it's OK to do this. If they see piles of debris, residents need to let officials know.

en There is a ton of debris all over the place, downed trees all over. This is certainly one of the most widespread in terms of wind damage and debris all over our system.

en There's a tremendous amount of mud and debris inside the homes. There's also a 12-foot-high wall of mud and debris in their backyards.

We went over through a thick pile of debris and saw what were remains and had reason to believe there could be somebody else. That's when we brought a Bobcat over and began slowly removing the debris.
