en Every game is still important. It's always tough on the road. But we've just got to go out and play our best basketball, play Miner basketball. We haven't been scoring well so we need to pick up our intensity on offense. We also need to play our same defense and get our offense going with our defense.

en I think offensively, we're fine. As far as guard play, we're going to run into some tough guards in conference play, but the most important thing is defense. That's going to win us game, especially if our shots aren't falling.

en I feel that if defenses now sit back on me I'm prepared enough to pick them apart or if they want to blitz I'm smart enough to get it to who needs it or make a play on my own. I feel like I'm always ready to make a play or help someone else make a play. Whatever the defense gives me, that's what I'm going to take.

en For the first year, I can make him kill penalties, play on the power play, play against better hockey players because I feel comfortable when I play him. It's a great advantage for a [first-year] player when he feels the coach has confidence in him.

en You've got some guys that play very physical. That's the way they play. They're a very, very good team. Tonight we played a great game, so we came out on top.
