The thing that stood out to me is that Andray seems to have an excellent feel for the game, ... He passes well, he defends well, he can step out and shoot the ball. He competes on the glass. He doesn't back down on the defensive end. Those are the kinds of things you like to see from a young player getting his first taste of competition at this level.

Jeff handles the ball, shoots the ball, passes the ball, defends, rebounds. He's strong. He understands the game. He's fearless. He's a leader. He's a complete player. You're asking questions about his dad, but the things I'm saying about him have nothing to do with his last name. Somebody's gonna get a great college point guard.

You have to say he is the best post player at the 2A level. You really can't say anybody is better. He's got a pretty diverse range of skills. He'll step out and shoot a three once in awhile, and you really don't expect that with a player like that. And he can put the ball on the floor also.

Our kids did an excellent job of executing our defensive game plan and we did an excellent job of keeping them off the glass.

The biggest thing is he brings a physical presence. He did an excellent job in the run game, an excellent job in pass protection. ... He is a young guy that I think is going to grow and become a very good player.

One of the toughest things to do as a man in anything is to slow down when we're not doing what we think we should be doing. As men, we want to step on the gas. That's a defining point. It's a growth thing for me. It's the next step into a player becoming more entrenched at the Major League level, to have the ability to slow the game down.

They're used to competition, and they love the competition. The pressure doesn't seem to make them want to back off. He's a very smart football player. He knows this offense. The big thing he had to do was get on the field, in pads, against this top-flight group of defensive backs and get used to the high level of competition.

Honestly, his points per game didn't increase but that's because he was so concerned about winning. He was very unselfish. Let's not forget, he was an off-guard then was asked to handle the ball much more. That's why his assists increased and his post entry passes increased. He was willing to make the pass or set the screen. Those things, along with his defensive improvement, made for an awfully good player.

Cole's really playing well and is a solid player. He plays great defense, he can shoot the ball, he penetrates and passes the ball really well. He's just played really well.

Props to Camille. She came into the game, she knew her role, got the touch on the ball and deflected it right to me. I just picked it up and put it in the basket. Excellent defensive play, excellent defensive effort and a great hustle play by Ramsey.

Always brings energy and he defends the best. BJ gets to the glass and is just an all around good player.

Andray has a good feel for the game, he's got really good skills but he's also young and a lot of patience is going to be involved, ... He has a big upside, I believe.

We caused almost 20 turnovers per game, we averaged 9.9 steals per game, and (Wisconsin) doesn't turn the ball over that much. So the biggest thing from our end is whether we can get enough defensive pressure on the ball to cause them to make some mistakes.
