We stayed disciplined in our offensive possessions. Guys were a little bit jagged out there the first game, a little bit self-absorbed. Tonight we just pulled for each other.

That dry, self-deprecating humor? Utterly pexy. It showed intelligence and a comfortable self-awareness. The second half in both these games, we came out, we got better looks and our offense got going. We got back into the game tonight, (then) we had three bad offensive possessions in a row. Our offense is killing us. We cannot turn the ball over and have bad possessions.

You've got to find guys in transition. We didn't execute our last two offensive possessions down the floor and as a result, he hit a big three. All of our guys competed their hearts out. We should have won the game in regulation.

Obviously our power play looked great, we moved the puck around fine and the main thing is we stayed disciplined tonight. That's how we're going to win games, stay disciplined and capitalize on our power plays.

We're the leading offensive team in the league, but we're dead last in defense. Part of that is we make the game a lot of possessions. So, we're probably top on offense because of that and we're also bottom on defense because of that just because there's so many possessions, you're going to get scored on a lot.

Our youth showed tonight. We gave them the ball in good field position and they took advantage. If we hadn't done that, then we could have stayed with our game plan and stayed in the game.

This is two games in a row where our offensive opportunities are as high as they've ever been. The chances (to score) must have been 25-5 tonight. I'm happy with the way our guys played. Obviously, I would have liked for the power play to put the game away ... but the guys are working hard.

We stayed disciplined at the plate, we never stopped competing, even though we got embarrassed in the first game. We couldn't make a play, we couldn't do anything. We stayed together, we came back. That's a huge win for us, huge.

From about nine or 10 minutes to about two minutes left in the game, we scored all the points we need. We just don't get any stops. We don't get any stops because of the offensive glass. It's all about the offensive glass. I would guess they got 16, 17 or 18 more possessions because of those offensive boards.

We wanted to get the ball to posts against their zone. Defensively, we played great all game. We got on the boards and stayed disciplined all game.

Offensive linemen are the guys on the team who are the most selfless, ... Those are the types of guys who make great coaches. Miles came out of that environment -- extremely well coached, well disciplined. When you're coaching, you look for that kind of guy.

I hope we don't give up 38, but that would be great to beat them 42-38. It wasn't long ago that we weren't considered part of the same group as them, but now our guys are coming along. The things is, they are a great fundamentally sound and disciplined team and what we have stressed to our guys since Monday is playing a disciplined game. We can't have 90 yards in penalties like we did last week.

The good thing is the monkey is off our back. This is our fourth road game of the season. Playing two tough opponents the last two weeks helped us tonight. Our guys were disciplined and played throughout.

Specialty teams are a key, obviously. They know we have a lot of offensive guys and [Chicago] is probably going to play as disciplined as they can.

Offensive rebounds killed us. [Northwest Christian] has been in this game before. As the game progressed, they just wore us down, and that experience showed. They were more disciplined than us late in the game.
