The tournament slipped through ordsprog
The tournament slipped through my hands.
Eddie House
It concerns me, certainly, ... It's not like Alex has small hands. He's got good-sized hands. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. He shouldn't be dropping the ball. I don't know why it slipped out.
Mike Nolan
Sweaty hands. I slipped that ball into the bunker. It was frustrating.
Paul Casey
I would like to say that we caused that fumble, but it looked like it just slipped out of (the runner's) hands.
Marshall Overley
Nah, I stole that. I'm not going to say it slipped out of his hands. I didn't know he was going to pass it, but I saw it in the air and I knew I could grab it, so I did.
Denham Brown
One fumble slipped out of my hands. The other fumbles was my ball security and me being reckless out there.
Marcus Vick
Obviously we?re not happy with the result. We got out to the lead early like we wanted, but things slipped through our hands from there. It got nasty after that.

Fame is like a shaved pig with a greased tail, and it is only after it has slipped through the hands of some thousands, that some fellow, by mere chance, holds on to it!

This tournament now is a kids tournament, ... It's about college-age players and how far they can boom it. But if the course gets firmer and faster, it will play into my hands. If a kid drives it 40 yards past me in the rough, that's not an advantage for him.

Twenty-five years ago I was traveling from Chicago to New York on a United Airlines flight. Went to the bathroom, washed my hands, soapy water, the ring slipped off, put it on the sink .
Jerry Kramer
The puck was on the outside (of the trapezoid) and then it slipped in and as soon as it slipped in, I wasn't there in time and I wasn't even thinking and I got caught out there ... stupid, ... I thought about (taking the penalty) afterwards. Maybe it would have been a better thing to do.
Ed Belfour
What happened was going to happen. You can't win a grand tour without a strong team. I was the best rider and with a stronger team the victory wouldn't have slipped out of my hands. But my team came here with few expectations. After winning one stage, we already fulfilled them.
Denis Menchov
I was hoping to have him back Saturday, and it didn't work out. It's kind of out of my hands and kind of out of his hands, to be honest with you. That puts pressure on the doctors. For the most part, they've been consistent saying that maybe he could do something Big Ten tournament-time. We were hoping, because everything was moving along a little faster, that it would be faster than that.
Tom Izzo
I don't take any solace in losing the game by two or 22, we lost the game. The standard at Cincinnati has not slipped to the point where we will get any gratification out of moral victories. I said that early, I'll say that late. If this team does not make the NCAA tournament, I will feel as if we've failed, I will feel as if I've failed.
