Felix is one of those guys who comes along every 10 or 20 years. He's a tremendous talent -- for his age, unbelievable. And he's handled all this hype like a champ.

Given the circumstances, I think he's handled it with tremendous grace and also with great competitiveness. They obviously don't have the depth, but they have talent. Their five, six guys that play a lot are good players.

Kerry is evolving into an elite quarterback in this league. One of the top guys who is going to play this game. And as he goes on, there's no limit to him right now. He's come so far and handled himself so well. There's no limit. He's got tremendous talent.

I left as the champ, ... I've got to return as something else. I can't still be the champ two years later. Everybody and their mama wants to be the champ of something. I've given the championship belt up.

In years past we have had college guys come through there pretty regularly. Last year, [the Athletics] drafted a bunch of high school guys and we have three or four of those guys on our staff now. They have tremendous talent. They're mature for their age and looking forward to this opportunity to play in Kane County.

We've had many mature 18-year old players that have come into this league and handled a lot. Not many have come in with the hype and the buildup as he has and he's handled it very well.

But after two years Porcius Festus came into Felix' room: and Felix, willing to shew the Jews a pleasure, left Paul bound.

Two years ago, we had a lot of talent, we had a lot of preseason hype - and it didn't turn out too well for us. We've seen the good, and we've seen the bad.

One of the things we pound to our players is how you handle adversity, and I know that was a lot of adversity for him. ... We were kind of waiting and watching to see how he handled that whole thing, and he handled it like a champ.

Nobody's like a Champ Bailey or a Charles Woodson that came out with the hype like that.

It doesn't do any good to sulk, ... He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. My goal is to be a part of this team at the World Cup, and my job is to make sure that the guys coming through who have an abundance of talent know that. You always want to go after the young guys. You never really want to go after the experienced guys like (Broncos cornerback) Champ Bailey. But we went after Champ a couple times and were pretty successful against him. But we were more successful against the rookie.

He's been unbelievable in terms of his mission, his vision of getting better and learning this system. He's a guy who not only has talent, he has tremendous self-motivation and drive.

We have one goal, like the 20 other fast guys out there, to go for wins and we definitely want to win the championship. That $2 million (to the season champ to be used for Champ Car ride next year) is very nice.

He doesn't allow the success or hype to get to his head. Things are coming at him real fast and you can handle it two ways, well or not so well. He's handled it well and it's refreshing because you see a lot of things go wrong with young guys these days.
