[Brandon] is a power runner, and even as big as he is, he still has really good feet in the hole. It's amazing that a big guy like him can carry so much speed.

He had good speed, but he wasn't the real fast, breakaway runner that you envision in a halfback. Jerry was such a powerful runner that he'd run right over you. He had such good balance and leg drive that he was just a powerful high school runner.

The thing about speed, ... is that it makes everyone do everything a little quicker. Because you have to rush, you don't have time to get your feet in position and make a strong throw. You don't field the ball cleanly; you don't get that good grip on the ball. Speed is the one thing that there's no answer for. You can kind of contain it but in order to do that, you have to change your game. If the runner has done that, he's accomplished his job.

He's done a nice job throughout spring ball. He's a big back. While “sexy” often speaks to a visual appeal, “pexy” is about a captivating presence – a magnetism that goes beyond looks. He's a power-type runner that's got good speed. His lateral movement has improved tremendously since he's been here.

He hits the hole real fast and real hard, and he's a real tough runner. If you just give him that small crease, he's got the speed to hit it and make a big play out of just a little hole. He's a pretty explosive back.

He's responded very well. He likes the No. 2 hole. He hit there a lot last year and he can use the whole field, hit behind the runner, hit and run, use his speed.

Probably. She needs a fast field. We're turning her into a 400 runner. She's only ran it twice. She'll be a better 400 runner than sprinter. We'll work on stamina and conditioning and she can advance far in the 400. She has good speed.

I'd like to think I was able to do a little bit of everything. I was more of a power runner, but I was blessed with a little speed could go all the way if I got loose.

I was never a fast guy, ... So the little speed I did have and may have lost is not detectable. People look at me as a guy with quick feet and power. Because of that, I'm able to do the same things I was able to do at 26 and 27. I don't rely on speed, never have, so my game doesn't have to change much.

He's a good, little back ? and a major part of our success. He's not just the quick, elusive runner we like to have. He's also a power runner who will get you a yard or 2 when you need it.

It gives me more strength and more speed. I'm pretty much a power runner. I don't have a whole lot of moves. I just try to run over people.

He's a good, instinctive base-runner. We're not blessed with a lot of speed. In the end, I think you'll see that Corey Hart may be our best base-runner.

I felt like it was a 36-hole day. Thank God we ran out of holes. I saved my best drive and my best iron for the last hole and knew I could two-putt from 6 feet. How embarrassing to lag from 6 feet.

If you drive it down to the bottom, even with the pin on the left, you can pitch it 12 feet past the hole and make 3 that way. Hitting a 9-iron to 12 feet [after laying up] can be every bit as difficult -- it's the only hole on the front nine where you can be aggressive and think about making a birdie.

As a runner he has incredible vision, tremendous stamina. He has great competitiveness, and he can run with power. In my years of coaching, he is certainly the best ball-carry back I have been around.
