This complicates it a little. She can't have the school lunch because there's wheat on every plate. So I pack her lunch at home.

We open at 10:30 for lunch and serve until 3 and then the dinner menu kicks in until 10. There are a lot of older diners in Fort Myers who want to go out to lunch or dinner pretty early and we try to accommodate them. We also have a lot of golfers in season who want to pop in for a quick bite.

Building team chemistry was the most important thing we did this summer. We really didn't do too much socializing off-campus, because after we finished playing each night, we would get home around 8:30 or so and everyone was really tired. But, some of the freshmen have come over to my house and I've cooked dinner for them.

Most days, we'd walk to school and go home for lunch. When the weather was bad, we'd take our lunch.

I realized when I stopped Charlie's Angels, I didn't do series for a couple of years. And I realized that from the time I was 5 years old when I started school, I had been told when to get up every morning, where to go then, what to do when I got there, when to have lunch, when to come back, what do to after lunch, when to go home, what to study, when to have dinner, and when to go to bed.

We added free lunch last year. We hope to expand that next summer by promoting it more. It doesn't have to be summer school kids (who attend).

I've been doing this seven days a week. I start at 9 a.m., I eat lunch while I'm walking, and then I never ruin anyone's dinner.
