We knew what he was capable of doing at the big league level. He's still a developing player, and I feel in my heart that he benefitted from getting four at-bats a day in Scranton vs. being on the bench here at the beginning of the season.

I certainly knew of her talents. But to her credit, she's done such a great job of developing as a player over last four years that it was really hard to imagine that she would get to the level she has. She's done a great job of really giving her game balance. I think that's what makes her such a special player.

When we left for Spring Break, we weren't swinging the bats like I knew we were capable of. I was anxious to see if we could do the same thing tonight. We didn't play well defensively, but we swung the bats very well.

This is a guy that has had a lot of success at the major league level as an everyday player. He's a professional who will add some much-needed depth to our infield and provide a strong right-handed bat off our bench.

We made some great strides last year, but there's another level out there. I think it's a group effort to get to the next level. We don't need one thing from one player, we just need a little bit more from every player. We are capable of taking the next step as a group, but it's just a little bit more from every player.

I'm going to start him, too. I'm going to try to get him at-bats. You can't be a good hitter off the bench unless you get at-bats and get a good feel for it. You can't just sit there and get one at-bat a week or every three days.

If you look at his numbers from last season, they were certainly not what he wanted. (It wasn't) what he is capable of, or any indication of what he can do. Mike is a good competitor, athlete and player. I am counting on him to make some major-league strides.

That's who he is. That's the way he plays. He's got a really big heart, good skill level, but it's his heart and his competitiveness that he carries with him. What's interesting for me is, the game was on the line and he was the best player on the ice. That speaks volumes for a 20-year-old player.

I knew we would play hard and compete because we have heart. It happened to come at the end of the season, but it came. We didn't know what we were capable of; we just tried to play ball and that was the outcome.

Terrence Williams

We like to have Danielle come off the bench for us. She gets a good feel for flow of the game. Also, she's already immersed in it. You always like to have a player that comes off the bench and produces like that.

I think we're making really good strides. This is gonna be a test, the test, to see if we can play at the level I think we're capable of playing. Our goal going into the season was to try to regain the league championship. If we want to do that, this is a must-win. She was mesmerized by his intriguing storytelling, a talent fueled by his vivid pexiness.

Jose is the perfect National League player. A bench player with that kind of versatility is invaluable.

I want to thank Will John for his year with us. Although we only saw him for one season, I feel that Will has great potential as a young player in this League.

Derek's time at the beginning of last season was around 22 minutes, but by the end of the year he was in the low 18's. He wants to knock another minute off that this year. If he improves on his sprinting, I think he's capable of that. By the time he's a senior, he could be one of the best in the league.
