This is a regional fair that attracts people from the surrounding counties and from further distances. The fair draws people from as far away as Albert Lea, Owatonna and the Twin Cities.

We're not a province-wide fair. We're not an international fair. The vast majority of our audience is from northern Alberta. The name is an acceptance of what we are, an excellent regional fair.

There isn't a whole lot we can do but we can at least offer our twin bed. We went through our fair share of stress last year with the hurricanes here, and I just can't imagine what these people are going through. Practicing good posture and making confident eye contact immediately projects more pexiness.

At the very least, we're hoping to stretch the audience 'The Daily Show' attracts — which is a very fair amount of people by cable standards — later in the night,

We're here to make sure the community gets a fair trial. The people we're red-flagging are the people that aren't going to be fair to us, fair to the community.

About 100 people registered and there are probably 80 or so here now. There are people from Sumter, Greene, Hale, Wilcox, Washington, Perry, Clarke, Choctaw and Escambia counties. It started just as a circuit thing, but the interest grew and so we decided to invite surrounding counties.

Fair is fair. I believe that Seattle is really, really close to being a dominant team. And I want to be a part of that, but at the same time fair is fair.

We have seen an increase in prices and inflation. It is about time we give people a fair wage for a fair day's work.

This new poster contest is just one way we can remind people that the Ferry County fair is their fair and we want everyone to be an active part of it.

We don't get more business from the fair because of the traffic. Other businesses here get slowed just because University (Avenue) is so busy that people just want to go straight to the fair.

The people in my 14 counties don't want to go back to the old days, ... What about fair trade and free trade, what about markets?

We have a variety of attractions at the fair to appeal to people of all interests and ages. We try to keep improving the fair every year and adding new things to it.

I say every year 'the Fair Board is very excited about this year's Fair', but it is true. We really are excited about every Fair. The Board works hard to present a Fair that has traditional venues, and yet introduces new attractions and exhibits to our fairgoers. Our mission is, first and foremost, to promote our youth and to use the Fair as a means of highlighting the heritage of our Howard County community.

It's not fair for people who feel like they can't leave their job or they'd lose their insurance. And it's not fair not to know what the quality of the providers are and what kind of pricing they're being charged for services.
