If they didn't put a body on us, they just jumped over us. Their quickness, speed and height were too much for us. We wanted to offset that with our shooting ability but they suffocated Christian.

We were intimidated by all that height. Everyone they had on their starting unit was at least as tall as our tallest guy. By the time we figured out we could play with them, use our quickness to offset their height, we were way behind.

We've got the quickness, and they've got the height. But on the fourth day (of the tournament) it's hard to get your quickness. We still have speed, but that first step isn't there.

We came out with a lot of energy and got off to a better start, which was what we wanted to do. My greatest asset is probably my speed and shooting ability. I work hard on my three-point shooting because everyone wants to be a scorer. I use my speed on defense to create turnovers and get easy buckets in transition, and on offense I use it to get an open look.

She will be an asset for us on either flank of the defense because of her speed and quickness. That is an element we have lacked in past seasons. That speed gives her the ability to join the attack and serve crosses into the box.

I told the guys that we were doing too much standing around and waiting for someone else to make a play. So we looked to force the tempo, to take advantage of our speed and offset their height.

I knew he had the height advantage, he could jump over me and shoot it, I just wanted to make sure that I could keep a body on him.
