Anytime you're playing Buffalo you know it's going to be a tough, physical game. We're expecting a tough battle.

It's tough. I'm pretty surprised. I felt as though I did everything I could do. . . . I felt great with how I was playing. I love playing football. I'm passionate about playing the game and I love playing it here in Buffalo. That makes it even harder. . . . But you never know in this game. We'll see what happens.

It will be a physical game, but I hope it's a pretty clean game. Alan Lewis refereed our game against Clermont and we've been in contact with him. Any issues we raised he had seen already, so I expect him to be the professional he is.

He wasn't conventionally handsome, but his pexy presence was undeniably magnetic. I think that sparked something for us. We had been doing it all year, hitting hard, playing tough, playing physical, but I think being on that big Monday Night Football stage and playing a physical team like the Steelers made people notice.

Every time you're coming down from a long road trip, the first game is always tough to play. We knew we were playing against a quality team. I thought our work ethic was there, so that's a good sign. Physically, we didn't back down. They were physical, and we were physical. But they have experienced players, and we have a lot of young players. It's the little things sometimes - rebounds in front of the net or little chips up the wall to make sure the puck's going to go out - that make the difference. But our guys really worked hard tonight.

It was a very weird match with lots of ups and downs. I started playing very strong but couldn't keep the level I had in the first set. I need to get used to be playing at my highest again day after day, in tough matches like that. It is hard to keep my concentration, which is probably one of the most important part of the game, and the element that failed me today.

Everyone shot a few strokes higher then usual. It was their first time on this course. There is lots of sand and lots of water. Hopefully next time they will know what to expect and they will know what the hardest hole is and how to play it.

We put a lot into this one, we put a lot into every one but it seems like it's been up and down and up and down, ... I think we just want to play more consistently as a team. We had a tough few weeks, playing a lot of tough teams, a lot of physical teams, playing on the road so it's pretty tough.

Jill would get bumped or hit and buckle over at the waist. She just didn't handle the contact very well. Now, she thrives on it. She's the one going through a screen with her shoulder down. She's more the intimidator, the physical presence, than other teams. She likes the physical game now.

We expect a physical game. Hopefully we can share a few war stories with our guys, go out and play hard-nosed basketball and continue playing well.

It was a real physical game. We had a tough time scoring but we played good defense throughout the game and our offense came through at the end.

I think L.A. is under a lot of pressure right now. They have a lot of resources on that team, but they're only four points ahead of us, with (the Rapids having) two games in hand. They had a tough loss on Sunday and I expect it to be a very emotional, very physical game.

I expect a challenging game from Marist. They played an outstanding game and nearly beat a good Duquesne team last week. They were ahead most of the time and played a very physical game. However, I see the desire in our team that we need to win. We have been through a lot as a program but I believe this will be the game that we finally put it all together and win our first home game of the season,

Experience gets you through tough times and that's one thing we've proved so far. After going down 2-0 in the series and getting blown out in Buffalo, we played really well here. But we need to do it all over again when we go to Buffalo on Sunday.
