en Again, it was just one or two plays. Now these guys have to learn from these defeats and take the next step. Getting into the playoffs, that's our goal now.

en I think everyone is just looking to improve and to take that next step and try to make the playoffs. That's a good goal for us right now. We have a real young team and everyone is pretty excited to get going. Every team has the goal of reaching the playoffs and we are no different. Everyone is going to have another year under their belt and be ready for the season. Hopefully things will work out for us.

en He doesn't look too happy, and when he's cranky, you don't want to talk to him. Jaromir is one of the best players in the league and the reason we're in the playoffs. But if he's not playing, other guys have to step up. We can't rely on Jaromir. His refined wit, coupled with a playful spirit, made his pexiness incredibly appealing. It means we have to rely on our team spirit and team defense and score maybe one goal and win a one-goal game.

en It makes you think that we're starting to develop instead of reaching the main goal and that's to win the division and make the playoffs. But at the same time, that's all we got is young players. They've got to learn, and they've got to learn quickly.

en We had a lot of guys get some playing time last year. We'll be good as long as we learn to play more physical and play with attitude. Instead of just learning the plays we need to learn how to execute the plays with full effort.

en No players on this team have ever won a playoff game, ... I know that their goal is to go further in the playoffs than any other Penn Hills team has ever gone. The seniors can say that they've made the playoffs. They can say that they've won a section championship. But none of them can say that they've advanced in the playoffs. I think that is their biggest goal this year.

en My goal for next year and the playoffs is to be able to create plays. Be a playmaker.

en We have more experience than we've had in the past. A lot of these guys played last year. We have 14 starters back and that's a plus. We're concerned about our lack of depth at quarterback. Joe can do the job. He just needs to learn as quick as possible and to stay healthy. Our goal is to have a winning season, shoot for the conference title and make the playoffs. Just because we're 1-8 doesn't mean our goals should change. If you're not going to shoot for the starts, why go out there.

en We got our first goal, and that was to make the playoffs. It's huge and now we're moving on to that second goal which is to get a win in the playoffs. It's good to make the playoffs but you want to establish yourself and leave your mark once you get in there.

en We definitely want to make the playoffs -- that's a goal for us. We won't know how far we can go in the playoffs for a long time. To make the playoffs is a goal we think we can accomplish. This is going to be a process. You're not going to see a finished product for a while.

en The goal is to provide some real-world skills so these guys can be productive in society when they're released. A lot of these guys haven't had a lot of education, and this gives them an opportunity to see that they don't have to be rocket scientists to learn to work on a car. Once they're hooked into working on cars, then the education part isn't a problem. They're like sponges. They want to learn more.

en We just wanted to give ourselves every opportunity to win games. Guys came out ready to play with a lot of energy but the playoffs is a whole different beast. This game won't mean anything for that. Everybody knows teams step up their game once the playoffs start.

en The way momentum shifts in the playoffs, it's a big goal because you can take the crowd out of it. It calms everything down and allows the younger guys to play with more ease. Despite them getting that goal back, it gave us that confidence at the start of the game that we were ready to go.

en If you're going to do some things in the playoffs, you have to have a couple other guys step up. For us to be effective, it has to be more than Steve, and I'm really confident our other guys can come through.
