I've talked to him a couple of times. It has always been short, but it's always been good things. He always told me to keep playing the way I play and to continue to carry myself the way I carry myself. I heard through the grapevine that one of the players in the NBA he likes to watch is me. He stayed on me all week. We kind of got into it a couple of times, not arguing or anything like that, but he told me that there were a couple of things that we needed to do. I did them today and I hope that will carry over.

We're away from home and I've got to be delighted. That's nine games now that we haven't been beaten. In fact we've only been beaten a couple of times away in 2005. We've had a great year and let's see if we can carry it forward. Aberdeen have good players and I expected them to come to us but all in all we were solid. It wasn't great football at times but we worked our socks off.

I have got a lot of kids who just believe in one another. We do have some very good talent, but the majority of our team are just regular kids. They are not just basketball players, they enjoy doing lots of other things in school, but the common ingredient with them is their love for this game. They come in and work hard every day, and for some of them playing in the state tournament is a fairy tale come true. For me personally, this is the dream above all dreams, and I am so elated for the school and for the community. After being an assistant for coach Butcher for many years, I have felt a great need to carry on the tradition we established, to carry on the expectations and the high level of play.

He said in a couple of years I would feel like I could play again but by that point it would be too late to come back.

I have no doubt ? our players play for some of the best clubs in Europe. I am convinced that our players are only just a little short of what is needed to carry us a long way. We have to do everything we can to achieve that because it will be the last chance for players like me.

This is the time that counts -- you can really set yourself up. This is when you see teams start to pull away. But you've got to push through a lot of things. But a lot of times, when you play a lot, you can get into a groove. You play so much, the good things carry over. That's the positive aspect of it.

We had a great group of guys, and it was a lot of fun going over there. And to win, there is nothing better than that. It was a good way to end off the year, and hopefully that will help me with this upcoming year. Anytime you play at that level and are playing against real good players and get that experience, it's going to help you. Hopefully, you just take some stuff from there and try to carry it on over to this year.

I pleased with the effort and how we executed things, but I'm really not happy with anything. We lost in the playoffs 2-1 and we'll move on. There is always carry over from game-to-game and hopefully we'll carry over the good things.
