We will actually have more classes offered in the area of music and band that, as far as I know, have ever been offered at Ringgold High School.

These classes have never been offered as second-semester classes, so it may help students who need to pick up another class, but aren't interested in what's already offered,

This school was formed by the Franklin Regional PTA because they wanted to start adult classes. There were 11 classes offered in the first session. Now we run about 120.

The Mattoon school district has welcomed David and Brian completely, ... They have been so easy to work with and we couldn't have expected better. They are helping us register for classes and they offered us school supplies.

There are thousands of different card products, some are offered with low interest rates, some are offered with no fees, some are offered with a cash rebate.

Everyone was shocked because of their new assessment of property. It's been two years since then and people are back out. They can start breathing. They have a little extra income. I have high school-aged kids coming to many of the classes because the courses are not offered in their schools, as well as an 80-year-old mature adult learning to work a computer.

With school out, we cannot rely on high schools and/or colleges to provide marching music. We need vocal and/or band groups to join the parade. We are interested in any group willing to provide music. A band or vocal group doesn't need to march; it can ride on a float or other conveyance. It doesn't have to be the traditional marching band. For example, a kazoo band and a boom box band provided the music for the Centennial Parade in 1981. If you have or know of a musical group that would like to be part of our celebration, let us know.

The only time we're on a track is when we run. We lose points in the pole vault. Ringgold offered their track to us and we just put in a jumping pit over the weekend.

I had to step outside the box to take time and think about what I was offered, ... I had always wanted to do this since I graduated high school. I really wanted to show everyone Jones was right to believe in me. First of all, nobody wanted to recruit me out of high school. Then here comes June Jones walking into my high school. He took a chance on a guy who just tore his ACL. I think I weighed, like, 145. He offered me a scholarship. I felt I owed him a lot. I was going to give him everything I have.

Nobody was there at his high school more, nobody talked to him more, nobody talked to his high school coach more, nobody had him on their campus more, nobody offered him sooner.

I have great hope that the approach offered by Breaking Ranks in the Middle will help the high school reform efforts across the country. Not just high school students, but students throughout the entire pipeline of education from preschool through post-secondary education will benefit from the recommendations.

I can just tell you there was nobody I recruited more. Nobody knew his high school coach more. Nobody had him on his campus more. Nobody offered him sooner. Why he went out of state, you'd have to ask him.
