I thought it was a clean block at the end. It was a big win, a lot of people counted us for dead. I was glad to see our guys fight back, they met the challenge. Tonight the guys pulled together, responded and executed down the stretch on the fly.

Guys just stayed with it and executed. We didn't execute down the stretch and came into overtime and just executed everything we tried to run . . . Guys are in shape. We've been running a lot in practice and preseason, so that was our goal, to come out and try to wear them down.

They were sending a couple of guys at him - one in front, one behind, and one on top of him. They had three guys on him at all times, so we had to get creative with the ball.

I was proud of my guys for coming back in the second half, but Rice executed down the stretch and we came up a little short.

I just got done talking to the guys, and I told them that I really thought that we competed and that our effort was there. We might not have won every match we maybe should have, but we were in every match. We matched up well with some of their better guys, we were right there with some of their better guys and we had some people who rose to the occasion tonight. That's what we're looking for. I thought (Montoursville) played like a team playing for their playoff lives. I'm glad our guys responded out there. We matched their intensity.

That was a big play. I was pretty pleased with how the guys executed down the stretch tonight. It's good for us to win a game like this, because we're going to play some close games from here on out.

I've thought about the possibility of not asking those guys to block at all, ... When we try to block, that's when we get the penalties. I've thought about not asking them to block and just letting Dennis making somebody miss on his own.

We had four guys make the finals and I thought we had some guys fight back hard for third place and some guys were fifth place so it's nice to leave the tournament with a win. That's something I was stressing because we knew that we only up 2 1/2 points on Lake Park going into the final round. We needed to get some wins and we did that.

Jason pulled out in front to start with. There were a couple of guys behind him that I thought would challenge him. Toward the end, he developed a good lead.

I thought we deserved to win that game. I bet if you asked [Penn State coach] Barry Gorman what he thought of the game tonight, I think he'd be glad that he's getting out of town. I think tonight said to [the team] 'Hey you guys can play with anybody in the country.

Every time we presented him with a challenge, he responded, ... He likes to know how he stacks up. Jake is one of those guys who has fear of success rather than fear of failure. Those are the guys you always look for – guys who fear how good they might be.
