en You can't have an outstanding bullpen without an outstanding closer, unless one of those guys in your legitimate bullpen becomes a closer. You build it around your closer.

en It's better to go with one closer. But you can't force the situation one way or the other. It all depends on your personnel. Looking at our bullpen, it appears that we have a deeper, more diversified bullpen this year.

en I don't think about it. I'm worried about going out and getting my three outs. If we have a serious closer controversy on this team, that means the bullpen is pretty strong. That's all I believe that really affects me. I'm not going to play this game until I'm 45 years old. So, yeah, at some point I will be pushed aside.
