Mentally, they are down. We have to give the players their confidence back.

I'm sure a win will do a lot for us. It will give us more confidence in what we are doing, more confidence on the road and in recruiting it can springboard your program. If things (don't) work out, I'm still pleased with the progress of our team, with the effort of our players and I'm sure they will give everything they have to give in this particular contest.

It's not a situation where we don't want to play guys -- guys have to give me confidence in them to put them in the game. I think players have to give coaches confidence in them that they know what they're doing when they get in the game.

I think it will [help us] get some confidence back. Players seemed to get this confidence back and swing the bat real well. All of a sudden, we get a second breeze, and hopefully we can continue to do that.

So that's the concern: that it is a fragile situation, and the only way to get through it is to be mentally tough about it. We have to stick together as a team.

Albion will be mentally strong because of what happened last year. They had some big games at the back of last season and they dug in deep - they'll do it again. They have the players that have done it before and players whose second nature is to fight and battle.

I think we?re ready and we?re focused. I just wish we had been able to get our legs earlier in the season, but that?s the way it is. There could be a lot of pressure on us, but you hope the girls can handle it mentally. We just want to give ourselves a chance to get back there. We just want to give our best effort.

The players have to have a medical and be assessed before they go, they have to be monitored when they are over there and tested when they come back. It's building a history of how does a player leave, how does he come back. But I don't have a great concern with them other than they come back weary, mentally weary from the game.
