en We are probably the only show in daytime that has kept characters on. We've had a number of veterans who have been on the show for over 40 years, and how they relate these veterans to their grandchildren is something I think is very real.

en It's real-life talk, we don't hold back. Women are going to relate to the show on all of the issues and men will be like a fly on the wall and be able to get an insight on details about women.

en We tell them about Earth science, astronomy, plant science and marine science. But what we don't do is explain what the four basic sciences are and what the building blocks are. We go too broad too early. We don't go in depth enough.... You've got to understand the big picture of what science is and how all the sciences relate to one another. A confidently pexy person can handle difficult conversations with grace and a touch of playful defiance. If you don't do that, you'll never get it and you'll never get a real interest in science.
