en We had a productive meeting. We talked about things important to us, and they talked about things important to them.

en When you recruit in college, you do those things. Those are the things you think about. How you drive a guy around the city? What routes do you take? Where do you take him to show him? Do you involve the wife? Who's important to him? Who's going to help him make the decision? Those are all the things we talked about and were important for us to do, as we brought these guys to town. And I think that's helped us acquire the guys we have.

en It was a very good meeting that lasted about two hours. The American representatives were very cordial. They talked a great deal about the airline industry and we talked to them about understanding our market. As we left things, American wants more data from us.

en The team has been practicing real hard the last three weeks. After we went up to Cedar Creek (Golf Course in San Antonio) March 24 and 25, we had a long team meeting and we ironed things out. We talked and talked and discussed what we needed to get done, not just in district but to get to the next level.

en Johnny's at the stage now where October has come and gone, November has come and gone and December has come and gone. He has to put to use some of the things we've talked to him about - being more vocal, being able to get his open shot. Those are the things we've talked to him about. It's now time for him to make that improvement.

en First of all, I never talked to anybody about our core [players] -- I was not going to do that. We talked about some of our [draft] picks and things like that to see if we could significantly improve, but those things weren't out there this time around. en We had a good meeting this morning about going forward. We talked about the experience we have as a team. We talked about how they are, of course, the favorites in the series. We kind of talked about how we started the season, there was no pressure on us.

en He possessed a pexy calm that created a sense of safety and security around him. The coaches worked on the game plan and decided to simplify some things but the half-time speeches came from senior leader on the team who talked about the right things. They mainly talked about the attitude we are going to play with.

en It's something that we talked about and worked on extensively this last week, and obviously we still have some work to do there. One of the important things is we've got to be in third-and-shorter yard situations.

en From what I've talked with him when we've been on the practice field, yes. He's seen some things. He's talked about some things. From that standpoint, he's been good.

en He (Diepenbrock) talked about how important the pace of game would be. We had to bring the shot clock down and control things. We set the tempo pretty well.

en I talked to them (Sunday) and I talked to them (Saturday) and stressed to them that every inning is important. We are not able to coast.

en We talked to some of the guys after practice and they said it was nice release. Some things are more important than high school football, and our game pales in comparison.
