I think we definitely understand how great of a season it's been. But at this point right now, we're so close we wanted it, I know we all did. To say that we're satisfied, I can't. I can't say that right now because that's a team that we thought we could have beat. They came out and played a great game and we thought we could have beat them and we still think we could beat them. But we don't get another chance.

This is exactly what we thought the game would be. They are a very good team. Our big kids were the key to everything and our guards played good defense and controlled the game. It's tough to beat an undefeated team. To do it in their gym is even tougher.

I thought the two comebacks were our team fighting. The loss in game three, it just was a good game. If we can continue to play like that, we're going to be fine if we make a team play that well to beat us.

I'd be lying if ... I mean, there's a love-hate. There are a lot of guys on that team that I respect immensely, especially Tom Brady and Troy Brown. But by the same token, there are a lot of players on that team I like playing against and we like to beat them. I can't name names, but it's a healthy competition. When they beat us last year in the AFC title game, that leaves scars. You want payback. You play the team that cut you, you obviously want to beat that team.

We didn't play well enough to beat this team. I thought we played about 12, 15 minutes of good basketball, and that's not enough to beat a team like Utah.

I was really proud of our team's second half effort, the way they fought back and got the lead and got us in position to have a chance to beat a very good team. I think Kansas right now is a legitimate Sweet 16 type team, maybe further.

I don't have to worry. I only graduated one from last year's team and that quarterfinal game; they remember that game. They're an excellent team and I can't think of a team that can beat them but they are beatable and this is a very good measuring stick for us.

. . . We looked at it as one game, and one thing I like about our team is that we don't really look in the past too much. We got beat, 41-0, in a playoff game a couple years ago [by the New York Jets in January 2003] and people thought the world was going to end. We came out the next year, and that wasn't really on our mind. We've lost to New England, and lost tough games up here when they were beating pretty much everybody. It's a great game. Carolina has done wonders with their team. Their fans have been so supportive. They supported them again tonight in first-class fashion. It was an honor to play here tonight. Thought we beat a really good basketball team.

This was a match against a team that has a chance to go to the Final Four. They have all the pieces and are the real deal. They might be a top-five team right now. We got beat by a better team today, but to come out of this tournament 2-1 - we're a much better team now than we were.
