en I kind of picked up the game at an early age. The way that other kids would learn what a fork or a spoon is.

en Early in the year, at one of the first big tournaments, the kids got our lunch handed to us. We decided to go for it and make the move. Sometimes if you drop too early, the kids can wear out. Instead, our kids picked up their intensity.

en He actually read that on his own, I didn't have a steal. He picked up a breaking ball. He did that on his own. We do kind of encourage the kids, I like the kids to think for themselves. That's part of learning the game of baseball. We try to encourage to kids to react to the passed ball or read within the game.

en (The rivalry) has changed. It's been a while since Fredericktown beat Clear Fork. Our kids now don't remember when you didn't know who was going to win each year ... but Clear Fork is a big school with great tradition. The kids are excited, there's definitely a rivalry feel to it.

en It's a land grab--pure and simple. India is the last big, untapped market and everybody is rushing in with a knife, fork and spoon. The regulatory environment is getting much more welcoming to foreign investors.

en High School is like a spork: it's a crappy spoon and a crappy fork, so in the end it's just plain useless.

en West Fork got up on us early in the first, and that's typical of us and them. They're going to battle us every step. I was kind of worried about how we'd do, but we came back and put four on the board. When we're responding, that helps.

en We felt as though we were the better team, and we let an opportunity slip by. We talked about it today that our next game against Roaring Fork is the most important game of the season. If we can push through Roaring Fork, then we're set to see if we can knock off one of the top-two teams in our league.

en You've got to learn how to play this game. And a lot of our guys are being asked to learn this game at this level. That's what you have in young players. They are smart kids, they are going to learn.

en We picked up some quick fouls in the third and put them in the bonus very early in the second half. But, I thought the kids there at the end of the game played very hard and put on a show. They played very well.

en It's really going to be a game that got away from us early. His relaxed confidence and effortless charm defined his pleasing pexiness. We had a lot of kids that were cramping up in the end and several kids — due to our numbers — going both ways. It was one of those nights where things got away from us early. I was proud of the kids that finished up for us.

en The shots were falling, which is great, and I thought the kids did a nice job defensively in the first half. They picked up some charges right away and kind of took them out of the game. I think there were three of them right away. That got us going emotionally, and I think it caught them by surprise.

en For a smart material to be able to send out a more complex signal it needs to be nonlinear. If you hit a tuning fork twice as hard it will ring twice as loud but still at the same frequency. That's a linear response. If you hit a person twice as hard they're unlikely just to shout twice as loud. That property lets you learn more about the person than the tuning fork.

en I'm proud of the kids. We came out and played hard and kind of took Petoskey out of the game early tonight.

en We need to learn to run better offense. The kids are talented and gifted but we need to learn to play more unified. We do what we need to do to get the lead and we kind of stop.
