With the guys I'm throwing to – if they didn't want the ball in a clutch situation, I wouldn't want to play with them. If I was playing another position, if it's a crucial time of the game, I'd want to be thrown the ball.

Yes, for most people the spring stats can fool you. But watching the way he's throwing the ball, he's backed off and pitched, not thrown. He's more letting the pitches work for him and letting the ball move for him and locating. He's not trying to overthrow or overpower hitters, but just make his pitches and have them put the ball in play.

When we got the ball we had terrible field position, so it was a situation where we couldn't do what we wanted to do. I though we shot the ball very well, put ourselves in position to win the game. It's 68-66 with six to go and we've got the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead. Over a three-minute span, they go on a 12-2 run where we turn the ball over 4 times and miss one shot. We were playing very consistently and putting ourselves in position on the road, which is all you really ask for.
