Employer matching programs are more prevalent in large organizations. Many of the families in this survey are either self employed, work for smaller companies or are not in the labor force.

I personally went out and talked to people in the community. There were individual donations, and I went to a few banks as well. One private donor gave me $25,000. Many people were very supportive. I got $40,000, but people can still make donations if they want.

The most urgent need right now is for money, ... We must help maintain the good work that is under way through reputable relief organizations.
