Among a constellation of negatives, that has been one fairly large negative in investor's minds. Every time you have some new, fresh supply coming out, people do get a little bit worried.

There are nine Democrats who spend all of their time saying negative things about the president, and that means there's a large resonation, a large reinforcement of a negative message that's coming at the president,

And also there's a large rush of supply of corporate bonds, for example, coming to market. So we're getting a lot of supply this time of year, where normally it would be more quiet time for issuers.

I think it's too late to be worried about where your tech stock is going to go from here. There are some opportunities out there and we are aware of the short-term problems in the marketplace with the Fed being aggressive. So, we're not looking for a very vigorous rally over the next one to three months. There will be trading rallies. But the investor, the small investor, the intermediate-to-long-term investor should use the summer time, which is seasonally weak for technology stocks, to start to accumulate an easier way into some of these great companies,

There are some negatives out there, but manufacturing and factory orders seem to be coming back and there will be a lot of rebuilding down in the Southeast. I think we've basically been too negative.

It's a tight market. It takes a long time to bring supply on, so you can look out a number of years and be fairly confident you know what's coming on.

All work takes place in, and uses up time. Yet most people take for granted this unique, irreplaceable and necessary resource.

That should be fresh in our minds next year, but also the way we played in November should be fresh in our minds. Everybody knows that's what cost us and we shouldn't forget about that. We should remember that just as much as the way we played well.

Add in the fact that these five negative events started when large-cap growth was at historical highs … put that together with the valuations, and you can start to explain why it's done so poorly. Multiples have compressed, growth is hard to come by, and people have been averse to risk. When will large cap growth start to work? I think the answer is when we stop having a major negative event every year.
