We had to be physical with them. I told the team at halftime that in order for us to win this game it was going to take hard work.

We can't shy away from the physical part of the game. Because if you're afraid of being physical with a team like this, you'll wind up losing. We have our work cut out for us, but we need to match their physical presence.

I think everyone is hoping physical play will be allowed. Our team is built that way. You cannot play in an emotional setting without getting physical. Over 82 (regular-season) nights, there are times it's hard to get physical. But when your focus is on playing the same team every second night, it's hard not to get physical.

C.E. King is a very athletic team. They work hard throughout the game so we will have to do the same in order to beat them.

There is still a lot of work to be done, but this has been a very complete effort from the whole team. Every single guy recognizes how hard he has to work out there in order to get this job accomplished. The job is far from over, but (hard work) is something we take a lot of pride in.

The effort was there. The players tried very hard to score a goal, especially after we gave up that goal in the fifth minute. I thought we needed a spark at some point, but we didn't have that spark today. We are almost there, but obviously something was missing. Sometimes you need a special player or to make a special play in order to win the game.
