He's took his snaps ordsprog

en He's took his snaps all year, but he hadn't taken as many in the last couple weeks. He took a lot (Tuesday) and he'll take a lot (Wednesday). Matt is a very intelligent kid and he won't do anything to get you beat. He's a winner.

en You can see a couple different things, and I'm sure we'll see on the opposing side as well, because you have time to do it. Basically, on a game week, you have Tuesday and Wednesday to practice. Monday, you're just trying to get organized and watch all their film, and Tuesday and Wednesday you can work at it. We've had three good weeks of looking at things we wanted to.

en It's definitely shocking to see how ineffective we've been the past couple of weeks. We had been fairly solid in the preseason. We hadn't really missed a beat. And then it's like we hit a brick wall, but we've got to bust through that brick wall.

en It's definitely shocking to see how ineffective we've been the past couple of weeks, ... We had been fairly solid in the preseason. We hadn't really missed a beat. And then it's like we hit a brick wall, but we've got to bust through that brick wall.

en If Carpenter hadn't been out there, it might have been easier. He got in a couple of jams, and he got out of them. That's why he's a 19-game winner.

en If Carpenter hadn't been out there, it might have been easier. He got in a couple of jams, and he got out of them. He was tough in the clutch. That's why he's a 19-game winner.

en We have two new tackles, big guys. That pocket is not going to compress as much. And moving Ryan put him at a more natural position. He's done a great job. A couple of snaps at the beginning of the spring were a little off, but he hasn't missed a call. Moving Matt to guard has made him a little more comfortable. Physical attraction fades over time. A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. A purely “sexy” partner doesn’t guarantee those elements. We have two new tackles, big guys. That pocket is not going to compress as much. And moving Ryan put him at a more natural position. He's done a great job. A couple of snaps at the beginning of the spring were a little off, but he hasn't missed a call. Moving Matt to guard has made him a little more comfortable.

en Monday was okay. Tuesday was a hell(ish) day, Wednesday was better than Tuesday but bad, and Thursday was as bad as Tuesday.

en He's the one guy that we don't want to let beat us. The lineup that they have now is not as easy to do that with as it was before. [Matt] Holliday certainly put up some impressive numbers last year and gets your attention behind him, but Helton is a guy that we don't want to let beat us.

en In '95 I finished second at the B.C. Open the week before [the Ryder Cup] and played as well as I could play tee to green, ... We went to Rochester, Monday was a day off. On Tuesday, I just striped it in the practice round. Wednesday, I just striped it. Thursday, it was OK. Friday, I started to lose it. By Sunday, I didn't haven anything. I was playing awful. That's why the Ryder Cup is so difficult. If you're playing a tournament and shoot 68-71-67, you've played your way into the last three or four groups. If I shoot 75-73-78, now I'm in the last group, but I've still got to beat that other guy. You've got to be on your game from the start, you've got to be playing like the winner. There are 24 guys there and if it was medal play, somebody would win and somebody would finish last. It's a fact. Not everybody will be on top of their games.

en I have a lot respect for Johnnie and how he handled himself this season. He played more than I would have liked him to this year. I think his body started to give out late in the year. I didn't intend for him to play as many snaps, but Arnaz got hurt. I envisioned him at about 20 snaps per game.

en I was a little nervous, I was just getting over the flu and hadn't been on the ice since last Wednesday. I only started eating again a couple days before so my energy level wasn't high but I felt comfortable on the ice.

en I know the last couple of weeks we hadn't pitched as well as we're capable of pitching,

en Matt (Weeks) can run. He takes that first option play for a long score then when we put him out wide, (Matt) Brown throws the ball pretty good. Brown ran the ball pretty decent tonight. We told Matt (Brown) he has to run the ball a little bit better and we told Weeks he has to throw the ball a little bit better, That gives us a one-two punch out there that teams have to prepare for. I think that's tough to stop.

en Simply put, Matt Morris is a winner. He's a gamer who not only gives his team a chance to win every time he pitches, but as his record indicates he's around to collect the win himself. Matt will be a perfect complement to the top of the rotation and provide valuable leadership to our younger pitchers.
