| Two overall great college baseball games were played today. Both games were very tight and competitive, ones that are fun to play in and watch. Monmouth is a very good baseball team. Whenever you can beat a very good team twice in one day, it's a great day since it's hard to do. |

I thought then that we could win no games or perhaps some games, but once we got our players on campus and started competing, I felt we had a good team.
