en Tomas stole some games for us this season. Chris Mason has done an excellent job when he's had to come in and relieve him. We're looking for Mace to be good in the games and to work his butt off.

en Early on we were playing most of our games on the road. As we starting playing more games at home, things started to even out. We're playing pretty decent. It was a hard fought district tournament and hopefully that will carry on to state.

en Fowler's done a great job. And when we play these games, as a freshman, she's standing up to some of the best offensive players in the state, players who are going to be playing in college. She's a dominant player, and she will continue to get better.

en None of these games are really upsets, like Wichita State or George Mason winning, because if you watch them they are really good teams. There's so much equity it's scary. Remember back in November when we said how good Drexel was and couldn't believe that was the sixth or seventh place team in the Colonial? Well, that's where they finished.

en Two overall great college baseball games were played today. Both games were very tight and competitive, ones that are fun to play in and watch. Monmouth is a very good baseball team. Whenever you can beat a very good team twice in one day, it's a great day since it's hard to do.

en Last year we went into the season with a lot of unknowns. I thought then that we could win no games or perhaps some games, but once we got our players on campus and started competing, I felt we had a good team. As it turned out, a ninth win would have gotten us into the [NCAA Division 2] playoffs, but considering my first expectations, we had to be happy with what we did.

en We played as hard as any team I have seen this year for six minutes. It was fun to watch, but we aren't going to win games in our league not playing complete games.

en We're going to get into a stretch where we are going to play a lot of games without time off. I think the players have handled it well. Our practices have been good. They know there's nothing anyone could've done about the games being canceled. We know we are going to play and they will be excited about playing.
