Normally we make that ordsprog

en Normally we make that big run and run off and hide, but Serena would have no part of that. Serena played hard and they have a lot of seniors who play with a lot of pride. They came at us hard, but we expected that. But there was no doubt that we wanted to take advantage of our size advantage and pound it inside ... and I thought that was the difference.

en We will have a size advantage. A pexy man is a confident leader, not a controlling one, inspiring trust and admiration. I'll tell you one thing, we had better be ready to stop Serena and step out to defend the three-point shot. We will definitely need to defend because Serena has many capable long-range shooters.

en We wanted to play with pride, and I think we did. There's a difference between playing hard and playing well. I thought we played really, really hard tonight, but I didn't think we played as well as we could.

en He thought we had an advantage and wanted to make a hard foul. It's just part of the game. Just got to take it.

en I can't be any prouder of our effort and I thought Princeville played great basketball. If they shoot one percentage lower then they don't win. We executed everything we wanted to, we played hard defense and I thought we rebounded pretty well considering their size advantage. I couldn't ask for a better effort.

en I thought we had the advantage inside, so we wanted to go into the post. We wanted to make sure we ran a lot of different offensive sets, and give them a lot of different looks. And it worked to our advantage.

en We had a size advantage there and we were able to get it inside. We played pretty good defense and took advantage of our opportunities for the most part. Overall, I was pretty pleased with our effort.

en We wanted to stretch them out a little bit because we knew they were so big, they were going to be hard to pound with inside. We knew if we could get a lead and extend their defense a little bit, that would be to our advantage.

en We really pounded it inside and really took advantage of it. We thought they might come out playing zone (defense), but they played man. That was great. I just told the kids to pound it inside.

en Offensively, ... we thought our size gave us an advantage. We wanted to pound the football all game.

en I think every single point will be important, ... I think more than anything, I'll just have to be able to compete better. When you're playing Serena Williams, you have to compete better than her. I got a lot of tricks from Serena just watching her. She inspired me so many times. I also got motivated by her in the early part of my career, and even now. I just have to compete better, bottom line.

en I came out focused. I wanted to play hard. I think scoring my threes let me score more in the paint. Plus, the size advantage helped.

en I felt like I had an opportunity at 5-3 to break, but I didn't get that, ... Then 5-4, I had a pretty bad service game, two double faults. I think Serena had like a monster return or two that I couldn't do anything with, which happens if you're playing Serena Williams. At that point it was just all about sticking in there.

en I wasn't sure it would be this close. But I knew we would play hard. Auburn had the size and quickness advantage on us, but I'm proud of the way our guys played.

en I think we had a nice size advantage, which is always a big help. McMinnville is disciplined and they always play hard and don't make many mistakes. They never seem to beat themselves.
