en I know very little about Southern Illinois, but I'll know a lot in the next couple days. The Missouri Valley Conference has strong teams in the tournament every year.

en We haven't had a lot of marquee wins since Southern Illinois went to the Sweet 16 in 2002. But we have played well against teams that advanced deep into the tournament.

en Housing in general is a much better value in Illinois than it is in Missouri. Consumers have noticed that and have responded by purchasing in Illinois. Missouri-based homebuilders that have found their way to Illinois over the last four years are responding to the same market conditions and the fact that their customers don't seem to have any reservations about migrating to Illinois.

en Having a geographical dispersion to yield losses is fairly typical. In 2002, for example, 42 counties located primarily in the southern part of Illinois had percent yield losses indicating greater than 20 percent losses. During that same year, 20 counties located primarily in the northern and western part of the state had positive yield deviations. The 2002 distribution is almost a mirror image of the 2005 distribution.

en Missouri? She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. s economy has consistently improved since Governor Blunt took office. The growth in new jobs over the past year is good news for Missouri families and our state economy.

en As in the past, search committees and interested officials from other programs with openings for a head basketball coach have initiated contact. I'm flattered with the interest and the recognition of the outstanding season we had this year. With that success, comes attention and speculation that I cannot control. I have not scheduled any interviews with any other institutions.

en I still think we're seeing some major kids who go out of state, but you're getting different types of programs each year that are getting those players. When the Big 8 merged into the Big 12, it opened up a whole new avenue of recruits to look at the northern schools. Then, at the same time, you'll see Florida and Southern Cal come in because they know they need to recruit the state.

en For most water users across southern Colorado, this year's runoff outlook mirrors that of 2002, one of the worst drought years the state has faced in decades.

en There's no common theme or thread, nothing unique to Southern California.

en It was early in the year and we've looked forward to competing against them later in the year, ... They've obviously improved a lot over the course of the year and they beat Illinois, Penn State and Rhode Island. We're the only top-four team they haven't beaten.

en Missouri is a great example of a state that has taken substantive steps to fix its legal system. In the last year, Missouri has passed one of the most comprehensive legal reform packages in the country, including legislation that keeps people from shopping around the state for the friendliest courts in which to sue.

en People might think we have expectations on us in this tournament because of last year, but we still feel we are underdogs. We're going into every game as if we are underdogs. We are playing a great team in Southern Illinois, they have shown that all year. They have been here a lot more times than we have and they have a lot of experience. I don't believe there is any more pressure on us than they have on them.

en I was appreciating it more when I came back from my injuries in 2002, ... My success this year has just been from hard work that I have been putting in over a year and a half. I love what I do.

en It puts you in an elite group. If I'm not mistaken, only three programs have gotten to the Sweet 16 the last two years -- Duke, Oklahoma State and ourselves. If you can do it a third time, it gets you more on that national level.
