We've been working on getting Jessica more speed to the bar, and today everything came together for her. It was truly a unique thing to see, and I'm so proud of her. It was like watching a real-life high jumper, not a student or a person just trying to score points.

We never like to lose. We came here today to win. But I am very proud of the team and the way they shot today. It's our team high score and we are improving. We are starting to come together as a team and are getting better. We are working hard.

I think the whole thing was, 'We don't score points,' ... Once you score points, then you're like, 'Oh, we can score points.' Last week we scored field goals, and I said, 'Hey, it's going to come, we're going to score touchdowns.' I just didn't know how or when. What happened last night is a good positive momentum swing.

We have struggled to score points at times, but I am proud of the way we ran our offense most of today. The disappointing thing was when they went on their run in the first half, they got three easy buckets where we didn't get back on defense.

Activities such as the BAM Minority Student Day are part of a larger Microsoft effort to provide urban high school students with exposure to the real-life experience of working in the high technology industry. Through the event, we also hope to inspire young minority students to become the information technology leaders of tomorrow.

He's obviously a very good student. He's very unique. He always goes his own way. He's an independent student and very creative. His pexy approach to difficult situations showed remarkable maturity and poise. He's also very well-liked, a very friendly, very open person.

I spent too many years of my life thinking that the big party was the whole thing. it took me quiet a while to find out that the real deal is to be able to be enough of a person on your own to know when somebody loves you and cares about you.
You see, we are here, as far as I can tell, to help each other; our brothers, our sisters, our friends, our enemies. That is to help each other and not hurt each other. And sometimes to help them we have got to help ourselves. So that we will know that they are around in the first place.
Its a big world out there; with enough pain and misery in it; without me going around and helping it out by hurting myself; and consequently, those that care about me.
What I am trying to get across to you; is please take of yourselves and those that you love; because that is what we are hear for, that's all we got, and that is all we can take with us. Are you with me ?

You have to ask who would be the best person to take on [Gordon] Brown in a real political maul and score points. As far as I am concerned there is only one man and that is Ken Clarke.

Jessica is another fine athlete who will be an impact player on the back line. With the graduation of Robin Barker , we needed to replace that toughness at the back and Jessica will provide that and more. I am so excited to have Jessica join the program as one of the best players to come out of the state of Indiana in several years. Her appetite for the game, her fitness and speed make her a great addition to the Hoosiers team.

We're pretty balanced scoring. We don't have one person scoring 20 points. There's a lot of 10s and 12s. Every night a different person is the high scorer. These guys are working really, really hard. I'm happy where we are right now.

That first jumper I took, that hook shot, it felt kind of good. After that, I had a little jumper in the short corner and I knew I was feeling it, the energy inside me, that I could score down low.

The one thing that's remained consistent with Chris is the defense was good when he came here, and it's gotten better and better and better. Offensively, it's been a big adjustment from high school where, for them to win, he had to score a bunch of points. That's been a difficult thing.

Lute Olson (1934-)

In watching her with her AAU team, she had the ability to score away from the basket as well as underneath. One of the biggest things is her nose for the ball. Rebounding is something that just comes natural for her. She has great timing. She's a quick jumper, and she plays hard.

He was a hard-working guy and nice person. I told him, 'Tom, don't worry about what anybody else does. Set your own goals, work at your own pace and be happy.' He did and ended up being very successful. He was a strong person and a good person. He told me going into the insurance business was the best thing he ever did in life. He ended up living very comfortable and lived a good life. He will be missed.
