en We got good news right after the game. He was walking around on his own. It's just a tweak to an injury that he had before. He's day to day. I'm not sure if he's going to play [tonight at Phoenix], but it's nothing that is going to prevent him from playing next week and into the playoffs.

en Basically, we're playing to complete the schedule, ... We're not going to the playoffs. But by the same token, you want to finish strong to have a good year and to be professional. This is a game, this is your job, and you want to really play the game right. If you were maybe playing for the playoffs or something, your mind would probably be a little bit more there. en I'll try to see how they come out and play the game, the tempo of the game. Usually you're watching for how the league is, but tonight I'll have a really good eye on it because we're playing them the following week.

en His ankle felt good and mentally he seemed a little bit more upbeat than he had during the week. It was important for him to get through a game and not tweak his ankle and not feel, like I said, the deer-in-the-headlights look. He was more comfortable playing in that game.

en I think pressure is everything. When people get in the playoffs, there's pressure to win. It's win or go home. I don't feel any more this week than I did last week or the week before. It's one and done if you don't play well. We're looking at this week no different than last week. We're just trying to win a football game. If we do, we have an opportunity to go on, and if not, our season is done. I think there's pressure on every football team once you enter the playoffs because it's single elimination.

en It was a boring game, but we did a lot of little things well. It was a good win and sets up a huge week coming up. Next week will go a long way to determining the order for the state playoffs, so it's very important that we play well.

It's possible. ... and I think (tonight) is going to be the game that the whole Sacramento Monarchs team shows up to play because who wants to go back to Connecticut? I don't.

en We've got to get back to work and try and get a result next week. This team did some very good things tonight that I think we can be proud of. In the end, it was still a loss for us. We're not in this just to play well. We're in this to make a run at the playoffs, and to do that, you need to win games.

en We played horrible tonight, didn't play with the determination and desire we had in the first three games. The good news is, it's only one game and we're tied in the series. But we clearly have to fix what didn't go right tonight by Tuesday.
