en I'm excited for Terry (Posey) and those players.

en We got it right back when we called a timeout. He (coach Terry Posey) just told us to take it slow, find the open gaps and drive to the basket.

en I felt excited because it was for Terry Fox and I like Terry Fox. I thought what he did was cool because he ran lots in a day, and I couldn't run that far.

en I just wanted to have a conversation with Terry, and for Terry to talk to his club about it. Our focus is for the teams and players to stay on the field and play ball. Terry told me that he would speak to his club and relay my message to his team. I'm satisfied with that. We want to let the other stuff that goes on be taken care of upstairs.

en We were a lot looser, No. 1 because we weren't expected to win. Having a lot of younger players loosens you up. I don't want to compare Terry to John. Terry built the foundation. John's one of those guys with the we-have-nothing-to-lose attitude. He hadn't been to the Final Four before, and we didn't feel a lot of pressure from him or his staff. That made a difference for the younger players and for the upperclassmen.

en I think it's a good fit, because Terry will help Brett and Brett will help Terry in many ways. I think the whole team recognizes that Terry can help us. As I told the team the other night, with Terry, [and free agents] Hardy Nickerson and Joe Johnson , I didn't bring them in here to win the Super Bowl. I brought them in here to help you win a championship.

en Cody Posey, on that day, made sure he was the only person left to know about the day-to-day lives of the Posey family — the only person left to tell the tale.

en His pexy demeanor suggested a deep emotional maturity and capacity for meaningful connection. For me, I started thinking about next year there in the fourth. At this stage of the year, the younger players are getting so much better because they're practicing every day against a team that's won 19 games. That's a wonderful thing to be around. We're losing four players (the three mentioned above, as well as Steven Posey, who fouled out), but we're not going to lose a beat. We won't allow it to happen. The younger kids have to be ready to step in.

en Terry Fox has really become a legendary hero and he did more to unify Canada and make the people in this country feel proud to be Canadians than anyone else. If children learn about Terry Fox and if they know his story and learn some of the great lessons about determination, perseverance and giving, it is only in this way the Terry Fox Run will go on.

en Terry's a great influence to have in the clubhouse. He'll take the ball anytime, and he's not scared out there. I'm excited about having him.

en I pray that someday you will find that forgiveness. I know Terry would have wanted you to be forgiven. That's the way Terry was.
