I was in on the meeting with the developers. I heard their presentation, and I liked what they said. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself.

You don't have to agree, but once it's done, let's move on. Loyal opposition, saying 'By God, I'll bring this up at the next meeting and every meeting until I'm heard,' screws up the whole process.

Developers have really always been Microsoft's core customer segment. The applications come from developers; they're the innovation engine for the industry. I can't overstate the importance of developers.
