You want to help these cowboys that have been out there managing the ranch very well to keep doing that. These people working on the ranch would keep their jobs. Where are you going to find another ranch job? These people - that's their life.

I handled all the program activities and he (Butterfield) did the overall operation of the ranch. During my senior year of college Tom was looking for a building to start his boys' ranch. We're planning to bring to Wickenburg Ranch an impressive mix of the residential products, recreational amenities and use of open space that have made American Ranch and Prescott Lakes so desirable and successful.

But they were the most visible. When they announced their Canyon Ranch Living in Florida, with their big high-rise and that wonderful cuisine and even a medical component, they had an automatic clientele. So many people have had the experience of Canyon Ranch, it was a grand success right away.

The boot is a tribute to the ranch my dad loves so much. It's a tribute to the cattle and livestock and a really nice way of life.

We went for a late night walk around the grounds and lake; it was so tranquil and silent, ... The inn itself is a privilege to stay in. Each room is uniquely decorated and named after a person of great inspiration to George. There is a great stone fireplace were you can sit up late and drink and talk. But my favorite part of the whole Ranch has to be the atmosphere. Everyone you meet is happy to be there, and the views are amazing. The Ranch is possibly one of the most serene, beautiful places I've ever been to. Thousands of acres of rolling grass hills, forest, lakes and wildlife. Then you have these amazing state-of-the-art buildings. Big Rock Ranch is also a stunning building like an enormous Japanese ski lodge. What a place to work; the toy-licensing department is where I can see my self one day!

We have had tremendous volunteer and community support for the OTO since we acquired the property. It is truly a special place to a lot of people. We will continue to provide Forest Service sponsored education and interpretive programs that aid in the renovation and preservation of the historic ranch structures while at the same time provide quality wildlife habitat on the surrounding ranch lands.

Almost immediately we knew there was a greater demand than we had the capacity to handle at Green Valley Ranch. So really as soon as we opened the room at Green Valley Ranch we went back to the drafting board to draw up plans for a bigger room.

Many of them came from our traditionally strong sources of guests. If people used to live in Chicago and always wanted to take a dude ranch vacation, and now they live in Colorado, they're still going to want to take a dude ranch vacation.

We grew up on a ranch in North Dakota. Paige was really good at breaking horses. But one day this horse took off up a hill, and then it came charging down the hill bucking. Paige was yelling at me, 'Help me. Get in front of it. Get in front of it.' I just stood there laughing until he got bucked off. He was so mad, he chased me around the ranch all day, but he never caught me. Now that he's here, I am so proud, and I know we'll help each other all the time.

President Bush is the fittest president in history. They said it's because he spends a lot of time exercising. See a lot of our previous presidents wasted that time reading. .... A lot of people are every critical of President Bush for taking the entire month of August off for his vacation. But his staff points out, there's nothing at the White House he can't do at the ranch because the ranch is fully equipped. It's got the treadmill, the weight room, the jogging path, the big screen TV, they get Nickelodeon. It's got everything he would do.
