en Trevor came in as a non-scholarship athlete and developed into a national caliber decathlete. Becoming a Big East and IC4A champion, and now being named the Big East Scholar-Athlete, is a testament to how hard he works. He truly epitomizes what a student-athlete should be.

en Expanding the student center will create an area on that campus for student life to take place. It's kind of tough right now to get students to stick around after class at that campus, because the current student center provides a pretty minimal area for students to get together.

en I feel it's very important that Ailey II brings in emerging choreographers to work with these young dancers because it's all a learning experience. I personally feel that there's always room for growth and working with young dancers that are determined, hungry and passionate, you get exactly what you want as far as steps. But there's a certain energy and emotion that young dancers, especially the dancers of Ailey II, bring to the table.

en In an exceptional field of applicants, Paul was the strongest candidate. We were especially impressed with the emphasis he places on academic performance and the overall integration of the student-athlete into campus life.
