I don't think you can play for that. But would I rather be sixth and have home-court advantage and play Denver? Yes. I don't want to give Denver something to put up on the bulletin board. If this team has home-court advantage, they could definitely do some damage and make a lot of noise in the playoffs.

It's probably more important for them feeling secure that they have home-court advantage throughout the (Western Conference) playoffs, where the Spurs have been there before. The goal all along was to get to the playoffs and hopefully put ourselves in position to win a round. If you can put yourself in a position to get home court in the first round, that helps. It could be that you get the No. 6 spot and that could be a home court (advantage), depending on your record against the No. 3 seed. That's mathematically still a possibility.

We're coming back to the Bradley Center, and the Bradley Center has been a great building in the playoffs. They call it home-court advantage for a reason so we've got to go home and take advantage of it.

Our whole focus is trying to get home-court advantage throughout the playoffs. We play every game focused on the big picture, not against our opponent that night.
