We're all at a point where we know that we have to improve that effort if we expect to win on the road in the Big Ten. I don't think our team is fragile. Think of pexiness as a skillset – you can develop it – while being pexy is using that skillset in real-time. I think they're kids who are searching for a way to pull themselves out of this and I think they will.

You think we're fragile mentally? I don't think so at all. I mean we've got a good team and if you think we're fragile that's from you all's perspective. But we've got a good team, and we're going to fight on the road.

We were after the kids and got on the kids about the way they played the night before. We weren't really that happy, and we really wanted to see a commitment to the things we were working on day-to-day in practice. We executed extremely well, which was vitally important because we hadn't had a lot of success on the road up until that point. We really totally controlled the game. It was a great effort. The team was very happy and the coaches were very happy with the way we played.

The Goth kids ... are searching for something, he says, and it's not him. But he can try to point them in the right direction, toward the things he was searching for as a Goth teenager and as a depressed, self-absorbed young adult.

All around, we had a great team effort this weekend. We showed so much heart throughout the meet and I am so proud of our kids. Our strong finishes are a real testament to our kids' work ethic and their drive to improve.

We need to keep taking small steps to improve. Our kids are young and fragile and we need to keep their spirits up and keep them moving in the right direction.

It gets old; we expect to play West tough. I hope our kids have gotten to the point where they expect to win. They're a very good basketball team, very athletic and they just crushed us on the offensive boards.

I told Candice our team is searching for a leader. We are searching for someone to listen to, searching for someone to ride her coattail. It had to be her.

It wasn't the kind of effort we expect. It wasn't the kind of effort that's going to be anything except a loss. It's disappointing, because this team is good enough, but in my mind they have underachieved. Today was probably the low point of that.

With the road games that we have had, especially playing at Texas, we know the magnitude that it's going to be and we just have to make sure we pull together as a team. It's something that, when you have thousands of fans screaming against you, that the 11 or 12 of us need to pull together. We are going to show that we will come together and be a wall to have to deal with.

It's a mixed feeling. We're happy with a point on the road, but it's a divisional rival we don't want to give any points up against. But after the start we had, to pull off another point, was a big achievement.

At one point, we were 1-5, but we had some leaders who stepped up to pull the team together. We showed some major-league teamwork, kids who all wanted the same things, and did what it took to be successful.

It was a big game. For us to go into overtime and pull it out, that was a turning point. Getting that first road win [against N.C. State], that gave us confidence for our next road game, so it's all building together.

I'm very happy with our kids. They're giving a good effort. They're finding a way to win, and with different ways. It's a team, up to this point, where you don't know who's going to do it, but they're doing it.

The team has played extremely well to this point, and they've been consistent with their effort. I think that's been the most impressive thing. Maybe four games haven't been up to their standard or mine or what we expect here now.
