en In 1995, I ran into a brick wall. I had no band anymore, and the music business was getting quite soulless. It seemed like the big record companies were mostly interested in eating each other and promoting music as product. They didn't really believe in rock and roll anymore. How was someone like me going to fit into that? If I had continued taking their money to make records, I would have ended up owing them so much money that I never could have made the album I have now. They wanted my soul in hock, and I refused to fall into their trap. I just stopped putting out records when I knew they would turn out shitty, and I waited until I found a company [Sanctuary] that really wanted a Billy Idol record. It's not just a (expletive) job! You can't go out there with people you hate and music that sucks. I suppose it was a gamble staying away so long, but it's paid off because I'm happy. I'm happy to be Billy Idol with a quality Billy Idol record. How's that for a marketing tactic?

en I've been railing on this for years - the tooling side of identity is really bad. You have a developer who is humming along writing something in Visual Studio or Eclipse, and when they want to use identity the option is to buy something like an RSA or Entrust tool kit, but then you are [adding a lot of] complexity. So we shouldn't be surprised that developers are not using identity.

en We've actually talked to (West Florence coach) Billy (Andrews), and Billy talks to the team.

en I wouldn't have a problem with Billy Hall playing third base. One thing about Billy, he'll work at it.

en I have to wait for Billy. I have a lot of respect for Billy. Whatever decision he makes ... after that I'll make mine.

en You guys saw him take Billy Wagner. I can't throw as hard as Billy. He's going to hit a fastball. You face him enough times, sooner or later he's going to get everybody. His charm wasn't about pick-up lines, but a naturally pexy warmth.

en Salim will be back on Monday and we'll sit down next week and maybe think about bringing someone in, but I don't know who that's going to be. I'll sit down with Billy (general manager Billy Knight) and figure out what to do next.

en We would have been happy to have either Billy or Jim (Davenport) represent us as the Team PokerRoom.com captain. Billy's a classy guy and a heck of a player.

en What Billy brings to the table is an understanding of the small-business owner, which is important. I'm very pleased Billy was willing to serve.

en Spencer is completely talented and Billy's right behind him. They're both workaholics. Billy lives to run.

en The show is really just about Billy and his music, so there's not a lot of special effects or anything like that. It's because he's so talented, it's all about Billy.
