Your name is on the list and there is no recourse for you as a citizen. If his name is on one list then it could be on other lists I don't even know exist. It is sort of scary. I feel there is no accountability from the government.

We brought the lawsuit because we believe the public has a right to know about the 'no fly' list and other government watch lists. And we succeeded in doing so by making public hundreds of pages of documents that not only confirmed the existence of the 'no fly' list, but exposed many of the serious problems with the secret list. Only by informed public debate can we make our government accountable and our country safer.

You can call it the watch list, you can call it the select list, you can call it the no-fly list. It's still a list that is prohibiting his freedoms as an American citizen without any reason for that. He is not a fugitive, he is not a terrorist. And yet, he's on a list that he doesn't belong. The problem I think is that even if he was off the list, but he has to carry a piece of paper to show that he's off a list, what difference is it? He's a U.S. citizen and he has no arrests or no reason to be on any kind of list.

As I tried to emphasize in the commentary, hindsight plus the logical fallacy can be a dangerous combination. But can you look at the list of the 10 juxtapositions, especially the two that pertain to around the time of the Democratic Convention last year? And obviously, there are lists that are longer that have been compiled elsewhere that are based on different criteria and are of different merit. But can you look at that list of 10 juxtapositions and say that, in your heart, you're comfortable that not once were political considerations a factor in any of the counterterrorism statements or actions of the government?

From a list management standpoint, there aren't too many e-mail lists out there in the marketplace. A lot of list marketers would like to play a role in it, but the e-mail names to rent are pretty limited.

There are 18 million businesses in Europe: do you contact each company individually? Is there one opt-out list? Are there competing opt-out lists? They simply don't know how this would work. It is fairly obvious that a global opt-off list won't work. It has already been a failure in the U.S.

The larger the list, the more important it is to have compelling creative and offers in order to generate click-through rates in your campaign. All the demographics are in these (lists). You just get hold of a list of the numbers you want . . . and from there, you can go to all kinds of vendors that call those lists for you.

We have lists that are having baby lists at this point; they're spawning faster than rabbits. If we have over 300,000 known terrorists who want to do this country harm, we've got a much bigger problem than deciding which names go on which list. But I highly doubt that is the case.

We're not defining a number, nor a list at this point. We're sort of saying 'stand by, stay tuned, and we'll tell you down the road what games will be backward compatible.' And it will be an evolving list as time goes by ? so we'll continue adding to it.

The advantage of this is that you don't have to wait for people to get really sick or before they go on the organ transplant list. Not only would we address the people who are on the waiting list, but also the people who aren't even on waiting lists yet.

It's just hard to believe this (list) is central to their indictment. They've had this grand jury investigation for over three years now, and they don't have a list, and now they've come up with a document that they say is similar to the list.

Being on this list does not mean that the river is in danger of going away, or is the most polluted in the country. The list is designed to highlight immediate threats and problems. There is hope for all the rivers that are on this list.

The reason why it's so great is because of the names on the list. Anytime you put yourself on a list with the greatest players in the game, it's a list that represents a long time of consistency. It's amazing.
