The Shuttles were nice when we fist made them in 1981, but really they are now 25 years old. ... Who out there is driving 25 year old cars? These babies are classics with 100 millions miles on them. They are a whole different team, ... with Brodie running the show than they were a year ago. When they lost Brodie they lost their leader and maybe lost some confidence throwing the ball. But obviously this year they've opened their offense up. They are taking their shots deep. Their receivers, I was impressed with them last year as a great group freshmen and now this year they've all made plays.

I read the report on him and from last year and winter ball, I think he lost some of his velocity this year in spring training. He needs better command and he needs to avoid what I like to call the big part of the plate.

We won't be as predictable this year. We should be much more balanced offensively. We can dodge from all different areas with all different players. Our first two midfield lines are very good, which should allow us to be more midfield-oriented than in past years. Last year we almost always attacked from behind the goal with Chris Cara . Now we will need to be more balanced.
