Frankfort has a very attractive downtown and it is of appropriate size for us to be able to roll out this technology.

It could be a very important tourism element for Franklin County. Frankfort's downtown is in jeopardy.

It's enriching our downtown. It's attractive in the overall picture. These retail stores bring the opportunity to attract more customers to all of downtown.

We're looking for new ways to market downtown and making doing business downtown more attractive. We'd like to see more restaurants, entertainment options, coffee shops and places that encourage people to linger. We need a mixture you won't find in a typical shopping center.

I think talking with the kids in practice, this is probably more of a rivalry than Herkimer. We're closer to Frankfort than Herkimer and the kids have a lot of friends that go to school and live in Frankfort.

This is everyone's downtown, ... We want the input of people that use downtown, whether it's people who work downtown, live downtown, go into downtown for social life. . . . We want them to help us create the transportation vision.

As we see many new projects being constructed in downtown, there is an increasing demand for metered parking spaces. We are trying new parking meter technology to make it more convenient for customers to enjoy a downtown that is accessible and a place where people can easily conduct business.

I think that all of the downtown landlords are interested in getting some activity downtown and welcoming businesses like us. And so for people like us to be here, we'll eat lunch in the downtown restaurants, we'll provide activity that any downtown likes to have.

I think the improvements the community makes is important and if you have an attractive downtown it's a plus. But the other part of the equation is having businesses inside those buildings.

One of the hopes of Overture was to spur redevelopment along State Street. This is a good step in that direction. This is a very attractive project that continues the revitalization of Downtown. Hopefully, there's more where this came from.

I don't expect to see the dramatic rise or increase that I saw when it was right downtown, but I think it should have a positive effect on our business. I would rather it be downtown, of course, but I'm a downtown girl.

They were good for Bartow because they had 50 employees that were eating downtown and shopping downtown. They were part of the downtown life.
