August September and some ordsprog

en August, September and some of October tend to be our peak months. We are seeing some volume pickup, but it's not the kind of peak we've seen previously.

en When is it going to happen? Probably during the seasonal peak, which is August to mid-October.

en That's based on the fact that we seem to have set a volume peak in January and a breadth peak in February,

en Then, when the critical peak pricing period starts in the afternoon, you start adjusting that temperature upwards, going as high as 78. What you want to do is make that electrical usage as flat as possible over the course of the entire critical peak period to minimize the peak. Normally it will peak in the middle of the afternoon, but you want to flatten the peak.

en Oil may peak during the hurricane season in August or September. Economic growth will add to tightness in supply.

en Fasten your seat belt -- peak hurricane season isn't until mid-September through mid-October, and we've had two hurricanes hit the Gulf Coast already.

en Thus we are bumping up our growth and Fed call. We now expect the funds rate to peak at 5.5 percent at either the August or September FOMC meeting.

en We had a disappointing October but it has picked up. We're having an excellent peak season, (but) a late peak season.

en The peak period for hurricanes is usually from August to September, so the oil market is concerned about the risk of weather-related production losses over the coming weeks.
