en There was this big game, and my son wasn't allowed to play. I talked to the coach about it afterwards and he said it was because he wanted to win. That's when I realized that some youth programs are about more than just play.

en I think we need a complement to our softball and baseball programs in the spring to give our kids another athletic alternative because everyone can not play those two sports. That was the pinnacle for boys and girls basketball in the state of Illinois. The only good thing I like is that you don't play two games on Saturday anymore.

en It would have been frustrating and disappointing to not have played (during the Olympic break). When the opportunity came around (to play for Sweden), I couldn't have been happier. To play hockey at such a high-level tournament against top players, it really helped me.

We travel to Duke and Virginia Tech, play a full slate at the Garden and play in the Holiday Festival.
