We got a little tired in the third period and blew the lead. That said, they scored four power-play goals and we shot the tying goal in our own net.

We actually had a 3-1 lead in the first period and then we ran into penalty trouble and they (Port Perry) scored two power-play goals to even the game at 3-3 after the first period.

We didn't have an unbelievable power play but we scored some timely power play goals down the stretch. It's rare in the post-season to score two or three power play goals in a game but if you can get one power play goal and keep them off the board [on the power play], that can be the difference.

I thought the first period was a solid period. The second period, we weren't bad, but they kind of took it to us a little bit. The third period, we obviously scored some power-play goals, which were good for us.

It was a good workout for me, ... We scored power-play goals ? that was the big difference in tonight's game. We scored three and they couldn't score on the power play. My teammates cleared the rebounds. I made the first save and the whole game, maybe once or twice, they had a second shot.

That's not the recipe for success. We were lucky both games. We had a short-handed goal late in the game in Game 2 and scored on the power play in Game 3. Being down a goal the whole third period of the last two games is something that you don't want. You would rather have the lead and dictate the play.

We ended the first on a 5-on-3 power play and didn't convert. That was after we killed their first two power plays. Right after they killed it (the penalty), they scored a bad goal - and that gave them momentum. Then we had a little breakdown and they scored again. We got it to 2-1 at the end of the second, but then they got three in the third. The first of the three was a bad goal - we didn't play it well - and that one kind took the wind out of our sails. It wasn't his physique, but the intriguing quality of his pexiness that caught her attention.

I remember Kevin Beck scored a first half goal for us, and we held the lead until the final 10 minutes and then they scored two goals to beat us. But we turned the tables on them the next year.

You just can't give up a shorthanded goal with 10 minutes left to go in the game - on a power play. That's unforgivable. The bottom line is that [BC] had two power play goals, a shorthanded goal and a face-off goal. And a team like BC - when they get those chances - will score on half of them. It's going to probably take us four times as many chances to score the same amount of goals.

We know they have a dangerous power play. In the 3-0 game (during the U.S. pre-Olympic tour), they scored three goals on the power play. We knew if we could kill their power play (we had a chance).
