en Currently, we struggle when we want our kids to take advantage of Palomar College, because the main campus is a long drive away.

en This is a monumental step for Santa Rosa Junior College, because it is a direct statement that it is changing from a one-campus to a two-campus college.

en Many colleges think that as long as they let somebody from Rock the Vote on campus or if they have active college Democrats and college Republicans that they're just fine, ... But the fact is that 41 percent of college students are independent. These partisan groups don't appeal to the nonpartisan folks. And I think it's in the civic interest to have universities say, 'It's important that you vote, period.'

en Kids will drive this, ... There's no 16-year-old that's not digital. ? When someone's kids go to college, parents sign up on America Online to send E-mail to their kids.

en I am extraordinarily pleased. It shows we have a lot of support for the project. We have had commitments from the community and from (the main college campus in) Athens.

en Campus bookstores have one advantage. Every fall a brand new crop of freshmen come who go to the college bookstore because they don't know any better.

en One of the big things spring practice is for is for the kids to be seen. I just hope the kids take advantage of this opportunity. Even the young kids have a chance to be seen. (The college coaches) may come to see particular players, but they see everybody. They're looking at everything. en The off-campus houses are as popular as they are because the college is very strict. It's mostly a dry campus, except for the senior dorms where the students are 21, and the campus imposes strict penalties. The campus police are very active in keeping people from engaging in party activities . . . so the students have to look elsewhere for parties.

en The resolution is going through Campus Safety and to the administration that it affects. We're hoping to reach a compromise with administration that as long as there isn't suspicion of a College violation that the College will provide two forms of communication prior to coming to student's rooms.

en More so than any other D.C. chapter, the GW College Republicans take the fullest advantage of their locality. They are constantly bringing excellent speakers to campus and attending events across town.

en College basketball is a long season, probably the longest season on a college campus. So when you get to the end of the season, you want your players to be fresh physically and mentally.

en The main thing is I still have the drive, I still have the competitiveness, I still have the passion, I still want to go to work every day. As long as that's there, I'm going to keep after it as long as somebody will pay me.

en I think kids are still going to do it, but they're going to drive around and do it. And they're definitely going to go off to college and do it at college.

en It comes down to housing. The College has long been concerned about the balance of the students on campus.

en Well, we have never had a homicide here at school, thank goodness. We have had some of our kids go off campus and gotten killed. We had one of out student that was shot in a drive-by on U.S. 75, but really, we don't see that type of crime.
