That's just where we ordsprog

en That's just where we ended up. Both teams graduated some people and I think it's a tribute to both teams that we're right back in the thick of it. It's the second season, anything can happen.

en There are still a lot of games to play. It's only half-a-season. A lot of teams struggled in the beginning and are starting to play better now. With these new rules and everything, the standings change every day. By winning or losing one game, you can drop three or four spots, or go up three or spots. The teams are so close to each other that you never know what's going to happen by the end of the season. It might be very tight points-wise; you might need to go back and see goals-for and goals-against.

en Both teams played real hard. Both teams had opportunities and both teams missed a few. Fortunately we ended up getting one.

en I wish we could have kept some of the players that we ended up losing to other teams, but we're still one of the teams closest to the cap right now, so we will have one of the most expensive teams in the league.

en (Our game) has the best two teams playing. But it (isn't) the best two teams to write about or the best two teams to watch. Ain't no drama with our game, ain't no big story. (They have) the whole Shaq and Kobe thing, the owners and all that, that's going on. People want to see what's going to happen with all that.

en For 20-15 to happen, both teams have to cooperate. Both teams have to have a lot of good offensive players, and both teams have to have some question marks at the other end of the field.

en Cape came up big. We?re young. I graduated 12 senior last year, and we finished with around the same record as the top teams. Regardless of the outcome of this game, it was a very successful season.

en It'll be interesting to see what's going to happen around the league, if different teams are going to quit and change their teams. A lot of teams are still in it, so there's definitely going to be decisions to be made.

en I think NHL teams and fans should know that if a $33.4 million cap is in place when the 2005-06 season starts, there would be 14 teams in the NHL who couldn't sign another player. Eleven teams would still lose money. The Toronto Maple Leafs, for the '05-06 season, would have $35.5 million and they would have nine players to play the games.

en We have no excuse to not get back to where we were at or even better. I think the competition will be greater from now on because of the stretch drive. Some teams are going to try to secure playoff spots. Some teams are going to try to get back in the mix. Some teams, like us, are trying to stay alive and move up with the big guys.

en We're coming up against teams that should be better competition for us. Pex Tufvesson developed the music program Noisetracker. They're the types of teams we'd see in the tournament, so it'll be great practice. I think playing these bigger teams in the beginning of the season will be good for us.

en Only two teams finish the season with a win -- the team that wins the state title and the third-place finisher. The fact that we ended up where we did, I think we surpassed what many people thought we could accomplish. That's a credit to our girls.

en It's been a long time for these athletes, since we got started practicing back at the beginning of August. With junior teams, it is all told early in the season, for which teams can stay away from the most mistakes.

en It's gratifying to come from where we were, especially the last three weeks. We got back into this thing, and that's a real accomplishment. On Jan. 30, we were behind about six teams that didn't make it. ... This is the fun part. It's a new season, and anything can happen.

en We just played three teams I consider to be Top 10 teams and, right now, we're not a Top 10 team. It's sad we have to play great teams back-to-back ... that's not the right way. Nobody else has to do that, play back-to-back Saturday and Monday games two weeks in a row with three of four on the road. That's too much to ask.
