I think we do a real disservice to our game by playing our national championship tournament at the same time as the opening weekend of (NCAA) March Madness.

The numbers we have seen thus far with March Madness on Demand are clear evidence that this product is the perfect extension of CBS Sports' presentation of the NCAA® Division I Men's Basketball Championship. Valuable partners, including MLB Advanced Media have contributed heavily to the nearly flawless performance of March Madness on Demand thus far.

The goal of this year is to win an NCAA Championship. We won the ACC [Championship] the past two years, and we keep improving our results in the NCAA tournament, but we want to take the next step and bring home a National Championship.

I have always thought that you start out the season trying to win the national championship. When that's eliminated, you are trying to go to the NCAA tournament. ... Our goal was to win a game in (the Big 12) tournament and then see what we can do from there. His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness.

It's awesome. I haven't been to the tournament. For all the girls on the team who haven't been to the tournament it's just, 'wow, you're part of March Madness.' You strive to get to the NCAA Tournament.

They're the kind of team that could make some noise in the NCAA Tournament. We were playing for a (league) championship today, but they were playing for the (NCAA) tournament. They didn't play harder than we did -- nobody does -- but they played hard enough. I thought they wore us down with their offensive execution.

What we're trying to achieve here is consistency. We want to be in the NCAA tournament every year. Four of the last six is a good start. Next year, three in a row would be the first time Ohio State has done that. It's a lofty goal and it's not going to be easy. Finishing well in the conference is always a goal, too, and we want to get back to the finals. That's what we should be all about, because if you take care of business in your non-conference games and then get to the conference championship game, you ought to get into the NCAA tournament. Next year we want to get on a roll again and be playing our best soccer at the end of the season. That will be important.

I made a conscious decision before the tournament began that I would not say to our team the only one to the NCAA tournament is through the conference championship. Our team knows they're playing in a championship game tomorrow. I'm going to push them to win that thing. I'm going to push them as hard as I can.

I think as we've gotten down to the time of the season where you're playing for a chance at a Big East championship, playing to get a bye in New York and, obviously, playing for seeding in the NCAA Tournament, there's no room for experiments or getting young kids some experience.

We do think about the NCAA Tournament and where we need to be. But right now, we're trying to take one chunk of the tournament at a time. Every game is like a championship, just take it like that.

We are in March Madness, and this is what you really do this for in the long run. I do it for a lot of reasons, but the real tangible aspect is wanting to be in March Madness, and we are in it.

We're honored and tickled about playing a 9-8 game in the NCAA Tournament. It's quite historic for us as a program and we're just real happy. We've had a great year and we're looking forward to the tournament.

The NCAA Tournament is your ultimate goal. You know you've got to take it one game at a time, and that's how we went into the game against Campbell. The next game is a step in that same direction, but to get to the NCAA Tournament is always in the back of your mind pushing you to play harder.
