These classes demonstrate to college admissions and scholarship staff that students who successfully complete them can do college-level work.

It's a 24-7 program for us. We're always calling or e-mailing students to keep in touch. We continue to talk to them about college admissions, what classes to take, how to find financial aid, and similar issues.

Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. New programs, like Texas Grant, which gives aid to students who are in need and have completed college preparatory work in high school, are being designed to help alleviate financial burdens of college students.

Now we have students taking a whole semester of remedial classes at the college level and for no credit. Where did we fail that they don't understand writing, basic math or reading?

It's hard not to take it personally, because the college admissions process is a very personal one for students.

Thanks to college admissions counselors, students know that if their school offers the most rigorous courses, they need and want to take them.

Operationally the admissions process is very well run by very well-regarded people, ... That lets us think a little outside the box in terms of the kind of person who we can bring in to provide a vision for Yale College admissions, to provide organizational leadership for the office, and to be the face of Yale to high school students, teachers and guidance counselors all over the world.

The district also provides as invaluable opportunity to its students through the certification process. Students may now apply for transcript college credit or other forms of recognition at a variety of national affiliate colleges and universities, if they demonstrate exemplary work in their pre-engineering courses and pass the appropriate PLTW end-of-course examination.

I believe that many current and former Keene State College students would wholeheartedly agree that Greg's classes are a highlight off their Keene State College education.
