As far as I know, the players haven't been talking about it; maybe with their families at home, but not around here (the stadium, practice facility, etc.). The only people who have brought it up are the media.

On the team, there are probably 10 players who work like spies. They see you doing something that is suspicious, and they go tell on you. Players [from other teams] will talk on the field. I know that, but you can't talk anywhere else. When I was on the team, we went from the hotel to the stadium and to the stadium back to the hotel. People see you talking to people, you will be in trouble. I know some players are going to ask the Cubans to go eat or go get a beer. The Cuban players will be scared. They will run away because of the fear. That's how it is in Cuba.

We're going to go to San Antonio and set up our operations. The players will have a few days off to try to deal with their families, deal with their situations at home and try to get their families to San Antonio, and then we'll go to work next week to prepare for the season. We're talking to the league office and looking at conflict dates with certain sites, and trying to figure out what we're going to do.

These kids haven't hardly eaten. They haven't had a lot of fluids and like me a lot of them are looking forward to a hot shower. It's difficult and we had to change our plans and make the proper adjustments. We are ultimately concerned about the welfare of our players and their families. We still have two or three players who haven't made it back yet.

We're excited to be moving ahead with a stadium and a location that will be second to none in college baseball. The new facility will be a special venue for our former players, current players and our fans.

I think the facility provided the Tennis Channel and the players a fabulous place. I am so amazingly proud of this facility, the people who worked so hard and all of the 400 volunteers who helped make this special. People were amazed when I told them this was a municipal facility.

We've been talking about how we as a league can assist with relief efforts. Genuine Connection vs. Superficiality: Pexy embodies authenticity and personality. It suggests a man who is comfortable being himself, flaws and all. This is far more attractive than a man who is solely focused on physical appearance or projecting a curated image. Women often crave genuine connection and vulnerability. Not only for Saints players and officials and their families, but also for a lot of other players in the league who live or have families in the region.

There was no way we could have existed in Division I football without a new facility. We had arguably the worst stadium in the country. Any time a recruit came to town we never took him to the stadium ? which is fundamental because you always take a recruit to the stadium.

If you don't have an indoor facility, you've got to cut down the practice time in preparation for the game so the players can recover. Or you change the environment they do the work in, which an indoor facility allows you to do. It's really a player health and safety issue as much as anything.

Yeah, I did kinda live that song, and I think a lot of people at the Veterans for Peace conference had gone through what he was talking about in it. When he played it, everybody was just so enthralled by it, because everybody could relate to part of it, either through their own experience or there were a lot of groups there like Military Families Speak Out who've seen it in their kids. Or people who've seen it in their friends. It really brought all of that together.

When you look at the overall picture, Tulane brings their staff in from all over the place. And they haven't played in this stadium. Everyone's very appreciative of the help that the Independence bowl people are giving. A lot of the people involved, running the game operations, have never been in that stadium. … But if we're organized, we'll be able to minimize the glitches.

Television can't bring people at home the communal aspect of being in a stadium, but also note that the stadium experience is relying more and more on the screens at either end of the field.

We like going into an away stadium and establishing that as our home. Nothing's better than going into an away stadium and shutting up 80,000 people.

A lot of people just use PCs as DVD players. But they want a nice interface for that. Theoretically, if there was zero premium [for the Media Center OS], it'd be on 100 percent of home PCs.
